Make or Bake Challenge !

Hello everybody

I hope you are all keeping yourselves busy and enjoying spending time with the people in your bubble – and not annoying your brothers and sisters!!

I have a different challenge for the students,  teachers  and teacher aids in Ruru.

Make or bake something yummy for the people in your bubble?
Then post a photo of your finished product or make your own instructional video to share with us.
P.S .. don’t forget to add the recipe as well ..

My daughter Charlotte and I made this very Yummy Russian fudge. It was so good .Mysteriously it had all just disappeared in two days.
.

I do recommend an adult helper for this one as the fudge has to boil for a while so the mixture is extremely hot.

I did see a microwave version as well we might try that one next time.

Today for morning tea Charlotte and I are going to have a go at making some Blueberry Muffins so please check back later to see how they turned out!

I hope you accept the challenge.  I can’t wait to see what you make or bake to share with the people in your bubble.
 I’ll  check back later team.

 Cheers Miss Bunting

  2. Hi Miss Bunting,
Russian fudge is probably my favourite flavour of fudge and I wouldn't mind trying some of yours...
Did your fudge turn out nice and smooth? Sounds yummy! I wonder if letting the fudge boil for a long time helps with the consistency - maybe something to test as a mini science project?
I hope your blueberry muffins turn out tasty! I'm going to try making some macarons with Michaela today.
    Happy baking!

  4. Miss Bunting, what a great idea.
I've been cooking and baking lots of other things during time away from school. Making fudge was one of the first things I learnt to make when I was a kid, it helped me learn about measurement, kitchen safety and processes too. I want to do some chocolate fudge now (that's my favourite). Miss Muriel.

  5. Hi Muriel

So nice to hear from you in your bubble. I would love you to share your chocolate fudge recipe with me and maybe when we go back to school we can try eating each others baking.

  6. I normally use the good old "Edmonds Cookbook Recipe" it's been years since I've made fudge, but I'll give it a try this weekend.

  7. Hi Miss B. I have been busy in the kitchen with Mum, while in lockdown. We have baked cookies. We made banoffee pies, pancakes and french toast. You can see some of my creations on my blog :)
